Vic is a small city near Barcelona (Catalonia). It has a population of 38.321 inhabitants (2007). Since 2010 it has this fabulous Concert Hall. It’s designed by the catalan architect Josep Llinàs and one of the virtues is that it connects two streets that are in different levels. Inside the project there is a public corridor that allows you going for a walk in between some parts of the building and connects this two streets. The architect explained once that ‘it is like a croissant that surrounds you in the process of going through one street to another’. The acoustic levels inside the main Concerts Room are really good. The functionality is also thought down to the last detail. Compared with some theaters that there are nearly, this one stands out for its quality. It makes a pleasure the experience of the Concert/Opera/Theatre/Ballet. I recognize that is not very very big, but is proportional to the city where is placed.
